For me Inheritance and Under Artificial Skies are deeply personnal images. They raise the uncomfortable issue of my own guilt, as a knowing contributor to climate change and the destruction of essential habitats not just for us, but for many countless species. The little girl represents the innocence of our children and future generations who are inheriting a faultering, damaged world throught no fault of their own.
